OUR STORY
Exploring her Haitian/Cameroonian heritage through image, text, and sound. Atana Lindor is an exploration of culture and tradition. Its design aesthetic presents a method of reflection that allows the constant questioning of how one approaches the past. Each collection is a reflection of previous conversations and ideas by her and others. A constant asking of questions that may have answers already, but should be asked time and time again.
Harielle Atana-Lindor officially established her London based brand Atana Lindor in 2025. However, the Minnesota native has been showcasing the ideas surrounding her practice since her undergraduate collection at the London College of Fashion titled This Must Be the Beginning of the End (A/W22). Her postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Art under Zowie Broach, and mentored by Harris Elliott, marked the beginning of a more refined and coherent understanding of her practice as a menswear designer. Her graduate work Who Killed Haiti? included the capsule collection, audio by artist and repeated collaborator Dechie, and sculpture The Funeral’s Uniform in collaboration with metal artists Serge Jolimeau and Rony Jacques. Her work has become a testimony to the importance of community and collaboration across design, music, and film.
Her work has been presented in multiple spaces including Battersea Express: RCA Emerging Talent, Melanin Modalities in Fashion and Culture, and The Colouring Critique publication.
A constant pursuit of reshaping the silhouettes and materials found through research and collaboration. Engaging with other makers, thinkers, and storytellers to better understand one’s own purpose for creating.
